Who is Fight the New Drug, and why are they important?

This paragraph can be found on the homepage of Fight the New Drug. Essentially, I have discovered that what I am doing is paraphrasing their blog. I LOVE what they say SO MUCH, I guess I just want to say it again. The truth is that they say a lot of good things. Recently, on March 9th they released an article that talked about the other side of the porn industry. Not so much from a porn actor, but more from unintentional and nonconsensual actors. Directly from this article, found here comes the following “As one victim of image-based sexual abuse said, “The videos of me being on Pornhub has affected my life to the point where I don’t leave my house anymore. I stopped being able to work just because I was too scared to be out in public around other people. And I feel like everyone who looks at me has looked at those videos.”

Porn Kills Love

One of the many phrases coined by Fight the New Drug, which I have pulled off of all their products, says “People are not products”. The others include “change begins with one”, “keep it real”, “fight for love”, “be a lover and a fighter”, “reject all counterfeits”, “love is focus” “brain, heart, world”, “Maintain autonomy”,” consider before consuming”, “don’t buy the lie” and their famous “porn kills love” slogan. Every one of these mottos could be the center of an article on their own. In fact, I'm pretty sure almost all of them are! Right now, they are celebrating “13 years of fighting for love”.
