Quitting porn is on the rise

There is a new social influence called “social proof”. Maybe you have heard of it, perhaps not. For those who don’t know what it is, “Social proof (sometimes referred to as “informational social influence”) refers to the tendency of human beings to follow the actions of others when making decisions, placing weight on these actions to assume “the correct decision” according to the Interaction Design Foundation. So what’s the big deal about social proof? Social proof is influential, since humans are social creatures. No matter how old you are, where you live or your ethnicity or gender, social proof affects you. Social proof as a subject fits perfectly under my topic of “Eulogies” -being the stories of others.

More stories and proof from my favorite source “Fight the New Drug” include evidences and facts from actual people who share their stories with pornography. (Pornography being a False Love.) So what’s the moral of the story? There are tons and tons of people who are choosing to fight for “real love”, as “Fight the New Drug” says. Real love is where two people choose to put one another's needs besides their own. Each of them chooses to love the other with all of their hearts. They help one another grow and strengthen their weaknesses. Fighters for real love are found everywhere, and this is a growing movement. Everyone can support the movement for real love and the movement against pornography and all it takes is adding your voice. Find a way to make your voice heard!
